Boy's Best Friend

A friendship has been born! Isaac and Rufus have finally taken notice of each other and decided that a relationship would be mutually beneficial (Rufus' idea of a relationship being that you give him affection on demand and occasionally drop table scraps). At this point, the boy's interest far surpasses the dog's, but if Isaac plays his cards right he'll have an inseparable four-legged friend. A few glimpses at their budding friendship:

Isaac's curiosity extends far beyond our pooch and into... well, just about everything else. Upon our return home from Costco the other day, he discovered a new toy and had a blast exploring in and around it. Easy to please!

Most of what he's curious about revolves around food and drink. Since he won't be starting solids until at least 6 months, we've been letting him explore meal time without fully participating. I have a feeling that he's going to be very excited once he gets his hands on some food.

Sorry Isaac, it'll be a while before you get any tastes of ice cream, but keep exploring, Little Buddy!
