He insists on using a fork with every meal and has gotten very good at using it. He can eat his body weight in watermelon with corn on the cob as a close second.

The outside time continues...
He talks non-stop in his own language and is working on lots of new words. So far he can say ball, shoe, doggie, duck, hot, truck, horse, mama, dada, book, and out. Most of these are half words only discernible by Joe and I... but he's practicing.

My favorite new thing he does is when he suddenly drops what he's doing, scampers off and returns with a book in hand for us to read to him. He's also been uncharacteristically affectionate recently. He's over his most recent clingy phase and now will pause to catch a quick hug, kiss or snuggle during the day. Loving it!
We made it out to a Sugarland Skeeters game and had so much fun. Isaac loved watching the bullpen pitchers warm up and taking in the sights and sounds. Anytime the crowd would cheer, he'd join in by clapping enthusiastically.

More early morning greeting of the ducks.
Unless the ducks get too close... FLEE TO SAFETY!The love affair with shoes continues. He will ask for any loose pair of shoes to be put on his feet. More than once he's run into something because he's too preoccupied staring at his awesome shoes.
We had two very special additions to our family this month, Isaac's cousins, Emma and Georgia. We were fortunate enough to be able to make a quick trip to Austin and catch a peek at the precious babies.
Isaac was curious and sweet with the girls and enjoyed spending time with Bibi, Aunt Anna, Uncle Mike, Uncle Micah, Grandad and Luke. Grandad entertained the boys with pictures as their patience with a cramped hospital room started to run out.
Happy 15 months, Sweet Boy!
