His personality is blooming and he becomes more playful and curious with each passing day. He is easy-going, focused, vocal, funny, active, adventurous and so, so happy and secure. He has started to voice his frustration when he wants something out of reach. Along with that, he has begun to try to propel himself out of our arms with reckless abandon in pursuit of desired objects - usually our food. Something tells me we have a lot of scraped knees in our future! His body is a solid block of muscle and he never ceases to amaze us at what he can do physically. Lately, he's been supporting himself while sitting, rolling from place to place and occasionally getting himself up on all fours. He wants to crawl so badly!
The biggest change in the last few months has been Isaac's desire to engage in play. Although he loves his toys and books and is great at keeping himself entertained, he wants your attention (and will yell for it) so that you can come play with him. He always flashes a big smile at whoever gets him up from nap time because he knows it's time to play. That big smile now includes two little toothlings!
He's also become his dad's number 1 fan. His eyes light up and a big smile comes across his face when Joe comes into view as he prepares himself for playtime. They've already begun a good bit of horseplay with Joe tossing Isaac into the air, mini-wrestling or threatening to "eat" certain body parts (legs and neck are the tastiest).
